Yep. 70 was the last guy to enter the field of the play. Video replay shows the official looking 68 directly in the eye, nodding and then going to report to the defense. This was a complete official induced cluster fuck that determined the outcome of an important game.

For me though, Campbell’s mistake is tantamount to people getting up and arms over cops getting too physical and forceful during an arrest of a guy who shot a cop. Are they wrong? Should they not have done that? Of course. Yet the larger issue remains with the dude who actually shot a cop.

What is extremely clear is guys like that get zero calls when they're already past their man and the tackle (usually) yanks their jersey to hold them up that half second. I mean...that's literally holding and I get we can't call it every play but it does affect dominant guys like Parsons Donald Watt Bosa Myles etc negatively.

This fugaze outcome will also impact who can and can’t sit starters next week. I’ve always been a “hey, not much you can do” guy or “that’s an either or bang/bang play and this is a tough job” guy.

Campbell said they explained the play to the refs before the game. If the NFL was rigged, the Cowboys would have covered the play better.
