I know it sucks. The extra off day is lame though(even though both series do require some solid travel).

Maybe I'm just being selfish because Thursday has football and a shit load of hockey openers while Wednesday only a few hockey games lol.

Yeah it's just dumb. Not always just pitchers either. LaRoche did the same thing going to second in Game 1 that review showed the guy as safe.

Unless its an awful power bunt and the out is easy/require no rushed throw...take the easy out at 1.

I think replay plays a factor, too. It's a tough call for umpires with the ball basically coming over their shoulder, and my anecdotal memories say they call them out usually, even though they're not.
