Game 1 @ WSH 3:07pm
Game 2 @ WSH 5:37pm
Game 3 @ SF TBA
Game 4 @ SF TBA
Game 5 @ WSH TBA

Should be a fun series - I think the Nats will win but the Giants always find a way whenever they're in the playoffs

Did Huddy say this dumb shit while still drunk from their wild celebration?

The Nats should take jump on them in Game 1 and rock Peavy. :hope:

I actually think this looks like the most even series. Nats obviously had the better season but the Giants have the best coach and a lot of experience. That Nationals series with the Cardinals a few years back probably looms in the mind of more than a few Nationals fans and this Giants team looks poised.

I hope you are right, but I fear the Giants have too many key holes. They only have 2 SPs that are post-season-worthy and they have no lead-off hitter (the difference in the Giants record with Pagan and without is pretty startling).

However, the Giants went through a good portion of the season (96 games, if I am not mistaken) without Belt (two totally freakish injuries -- he is not injury prone) and he is back at 100% now and is carrying a hot bat.

SF is clearly the under-dog, but 30 rings on the 40-man roster is a LOT of experience, and as mentioned, having Bochy, Wotus and Raggs making the decisions tends to even the odds a bit.

As a Giant fan, I'm not feeling too confident. As Cal said, not having Pagan hurts a lot. If MadBum was available to pitch twice, I'd give the Giants a fighting chance. Instead, SF fans have to hope Peavy and Hudson can keep the Giants in the game and unexpected production continues to come from Crawford, Belt, and others.

Nats in 4. We shall see.
