One needs to take into account the number of attempts. The real evaluation needs to be ratio, not just the total number of plays. Have no idea how that changes things.

If Howell has only 2 more turnover worthy plays than the next guy but 200+ more attempts, then that’s amazing.

We already know he is or was leading the league in yards simply because EB doesnt call run plays.

Ratio is key.

I vote a little of both.

The free agents brought in over the last 4 years have been misses for the most part.

Drafting has had very few hits with mostly being misses.

Throughout the Snyder era most FA’s have been misses . The best FA we got this yr was crowder in my opinion

Kinda feel bad for Sam. EB put so much on his plate. Sink or swim and for the most part he's been swimming.

Zero offensive line. Most attempts in the league in a TE centric offense with a mid TE.

BTW we need you to drop 30 almost every week.

31st ranked defense so he's not getting short fields.

Line rarely run blocks well.

I'm just not sure we could have asked for more from Sam but Daniels potential is clear.

I hope the new GM takes his time with the Howell film. It appears a huge decision is looming on whether to stick with Sam or draft a QB with a top 5 pick. Might not get another chance.

PFF allows you to trade players in their mock draft simulator. I was consistently able to get a high 2nd and a 4th for Sam. Example, Tampa gave me their 2nd(7th pick in round 2) and their 4th.

If you pick up a Daniel’s in round 2 ( as it stands now ) you have a lot of options and assets using Sam or Daniel’s as commodities

I think harris and owners need to relay 2 things to the candidate:

1. We empower you to make whatever decisions you feel are necessary to rebuild and maintain a successful organization.
2. We will provide you the necessary funds to accomplish this goal.

I would love to see the GM hire whomever he needs in support and to find the best assistant GM money can buy.

Oh....they need to tell the candidate that they are staying out of the way and to contact them when more money is needed...lol

Turn that top pick into 2blue chip offensive lineman. Draft a Qb in rounds 2-5. Let’s see what Sam and EB can do with half decent line around him.
