I don't have time for an argument but 1. I'm pretty sure Slinky specified one player and 2. you had to dig up a trade from, what, 2007?

Couldn't the same be said about any prospect, or did I misread what you wroteThis is a huge gain for the Red Sox and a black eye to the White Sox. It's a bad deal on White Sox part, because they traded their ace for two Podunk players that won't do them any good. We don't know how good Moncada is because he made his debut in the league last season.
The bright side of the deal though, I am happy that Sale didn't end up as a Nat. I would have been pissed if that happened lol
He was ranked 41 mid season last year. Midseason Top 100 Prospects | BaseballAmerica.com
Maybe he moved up.
I agree Dontrelle was a throw in. But Devers is not top 20 either. I know the Sox have a great form but they aren't all top 20s either.I don't have time for an argument but 1. I'm pretty sure Slinky specified one player and 2. you had to dig up a trade from, what, 2007?

[At the risk of sound like Sata- er, I mean Slinky] Your definition of "throw in" is tenuousI agree Dontrelle was a throw in. But Devers is not top 20 either. I know the Sox have a great form but they aren't all top 20s either.
Humming "Happy Days Are Here Again" to himself as he opens the door, sees the crowd and slowly backs out.

Yes, but I don't want to go full-blown Satanic. I still am sort of a Christian, right? I mean, I go to Church 10 times a year, and usually give up chewing gum for Lent... that's got to count for something, God!I think you mean his grasp on the definition of "throw in" is tenuous.
The BP list he linked is older than the one I linked.
I've always trusted BA more but I guess it's subjective. I'll admit he is a borderline top 20. I still think Sale is more valuable than Miggy was back then. They could have thrown in something else of course.Yeah, it's a different publication.
You think BP would have dropped him since July?

I started typing a similar post before deleting and sighing.Wait. You have to be joking, right?
Typical Cleveland fan.How does Slinky always manage to start a fight with some asshole whenever there's a thread regarding breaking news?
I agree that Cleveland as a city and its fans are "deplorable," but you're not exactly Abraham Lincoln yourself, Mrs. ClintonTypical Cleveland fan.
Why all the arguing? Let all just be happy Sale is headed to Boston
