This is a huge gain for the Red Sox and a black eye to the White Sox. It's a bad deal on White Sox part, because they traded their ace for two Podunk players that won't do them any good. We don't know how good Moncada is because he made his debut in the league last season.

The bright side of the deal though, I am happy that Sale didn't end up as a Nat. I would have been pissed if that happened lol

Couldn't the same be said about any prospect, or did I misread what you wrote

I agree Dontrelle was a throw in. But Devers is not top 20 either. I know the Sox have a great form but they aren't all top 20s either.

I've always trusted BA more but I guess it's subjective. I'll admit he is a borderline top 20. I still think Sale is more valuable than Miggy was back then. They could have thrown in something else of course.
