Hardly sounds final.
Not a terrible move at all. They improved the most important position on the team and they’re now the favorites in their division.I see this as a terrible move for the Saints. Carr is not a long-term solution. Are they Saints still living under the delusion that they are a contender?
Crazy concept for you but yes.Are they Saints still living under the delusion that they are a contender?
I don't think it's a bad move, necessarily. Carr is the best FA QB available, and they just improved their offense in a division that is sorely lacking in QB talent. Maybe it doesn't translate into a SB run but it definitely gets them into the playoff hunt.I see this as a terrible move for the Saints. Carr is not a long-term solution. Not just the division but the whole conference. Carr may be the 3rd or 4th best QB in the NFC as soon as he signs his contract. Better than Dak?!?Not just the division but the whole conference. Carr may be the 3rd or 4th best QB in the NFC as soon as he signs his contract. Not a lot of QB talent in the NFC.
I dont know. This feels like a Russell Wilson situation where the conference change is going to expose how mediocre Carr actually is.Not just the division but the whole conference. Carr may be the 3rd or 4th best QB in the NFC as soon as he signs his contract. Not a lot of QB talent in the NFC.
I would slot them right around each other as top 12-15 QBs in the league.Better than Dak?!?
Could be. He doesn’t have anything close to the same weapons he had last year.I dont know. This feels like a Russell Wilson situation where the conference change is going to expose how mediocre Carr actually is.

You are nuts.
Saints get a legit starting NFL QB and dont have to give up a single draft pick to get it done. They couldnt have hoped for such luck (maybe those voodoo dolls really do work).
Go check out Carr's stats for the previous 4 years before McDaniels got to the team and fucked up the offense. He was a QB who complete 69% of his passes and passed for 4000 yards and around 25 TD's a season.
Is he great? No. Is he good enough? Hell yes. Jimmy G has made the NFC championship game 2 times and SB once. And he isnt even near Carr in ability or production.
