We already have!
Twice during this season, there have been opportunities for others to step up, and twice, they have opted to sign another player to the roster.
(N. Brown and Osborn) I know there's hope for OZ, LMcC, and D. Brown on this board but considering these options, I'd rather see them activate J. Crowder and use him as the second WR along with a smattering of the newly acquired Osborn.
I don’t think brown will ever step up . Luke is a rookie and it might be just a matter of time .crowder could help as could Osborne

I think LMAC and Sinnott just needed the rookie year to adjust to the NFL, you never know what they may do in the playoffs for us

I have 2 varying opinions on these players. I think LMAC just doesn't get targeted and at times it seems difficult for him to get separation. As for Sinnott, unfortunately he automatically takes a back seat to Ertz who was paid to play this year and as long as Ertz is healthy enough, he will play over Sinnott due to his status in the league. In my humble opinion, Sinnott does more with the opportunities Ertz has had. What I do like about Sinnott's play this year as a rookie, he is called upon to block a ton and does a fantastic job so this reps will pay off next year. Watch, everyone will be talking about Sinnott being one of the top TE's next year because he blocks so well and can hurt defenses with his patch catching ability. Things I already know he has the ability to do this year.

I would say another reason these other players do not get targeted is a lack of time for the progressions. Our offensive line is not great and most plays are designed for quick reads to get the ball out of JD’s hands. If JD has time beyond a first read (usually TM), he may get to his second read (usually Noah), anything longer than that is usually off schedule and it is no longer reads…it is a scramble where he usually finds Ertz.

From there, levels of openness are a thing. JD trusts TM and Ertz not to allow a tight win down to be one that hurts the team. JD has not developed that with others; therefore, they need to be more open.

I've honestly been satisfied with Ertz, he's had more positive plays than not. He's not the same guy but without him, i think Daniels would be running a lot more and not by design. This is the one thing that has bothered me about the way too early mock drafts taking TE at 1. The guy is being benched before ever even starting. He looked amazing in at least 1 preseason game this year. Im excited, i also agree with your post

Ben Sinnott last 2 years in college:
80 receptions, 1,123 yards, 10 TD's, 14 yards per reception.
Combine: 4.68 40 time; 3rd ranked TE from 2024 NFL combine.
The Skins drafted a "football player" in Ben Sinnott with the 21st pick of round 2.

Noah Brown’s 56 targets were second on the team at the wide receiver position. He was also a chain mover, converting 21 of his catches for first downs, which is third on the team behind Terry McLaurin and Zach Ertz. Per John Keim in his podcast,

we got good production from him despite some drops

What makes that good production? 21 first downs is tied for 79th with Dalton Schultz and Michael
Pittman.

A full season (Almost) in review says, we need the following at 21 (Should we pick here) in some kind of order:
Edge rusher
OT - RT specifically
CB - Goes without saying
RB - Game changing speed or Ekler replacement
LB - Wagner is getting up there
DT - Should Allen not be brought back

I'm not against you picking a TE, I'm just not in agreement with more popular sports personalities on social media suggesting TE will be BPA / real need in the 1st

Noah Brown is number 77 in targets.

The only RB with more first downs is Achane; however, 4 running backs have been targeted more which hurts your argument even more.

15 players have more first downs with fewer targets.

We need a WR more than everything you wrote, except maybe Taxkle.
