Hmmm. How bored/motivated am I to do this.....It wouldn't be too difficult to use Sagarin's "predictor" ratings and home field advantage to predict game results, then look at how the actual results turn out.

Where it would become argumentative is comparing:

Sagarin predicts team A to beat team B by 5 points, and they instead win by 7. Is that close enough? What if they win, but only by 1 pt...is that close enough? What if team A wins by 20 points?

How close to the predicted score would Sagarin have to be to be considered good?

In order to further compare accuracy, you'd have to look at what the other computers predicted the results to be and see which computer system is more accurate.

So UGA gets a bump over Clemson partly because they finished in the top-5 in the 2012 season although it is the 2013 season and they have already beaten UGA? Seems legit.
