Sabres VS Pens GNT

Both teams are 7-3-0 in their last ten games. The Pens are still without Crosby and as we know Roy is gone for the season. These are the only two injuries listed on the CBS Sportsline site.

I honestly don't like our chances in this game as the Sabres are coming off of the longest break of any team during the ASG break. Sometimes it takes a game to shake off the rust.

It will probably be Miller and MAF in goal.

Good luck to the Pens and their fans but not tonight.

We all know they can't make it 3 in a row.

The Sabres are 5 points behind the Canes with 3 games in hand, and they are 6 points behind the Thrashers with 5 games in hand.

None of this means anything if they can't get some wins or a nice winning streak going.

I couldn't believe that when I looked at the schedule. Games resumed Tuesday with 26 of 30 teams playing. But no Sabres game until Friday.

On the plus side though, with guys like Vanek, Kaleta, and Connolly suffering from injuries, the long break is good, even if Kaleta isn't back yet.

Yep, he's been out since before the AS break (I think he missed 2 games before the break?) with a *wait for it* Sinus infection. I guess I'd rather a healthy Geno for the long run, and he says that his knee is 100%, which is the most important part. He just needs to rehab his confidence now.
