I wouldnt say legal, but not 5 minutes. He was defending himself and decided to pay the price instead of getting wrecked. 2 minutes for elbow. Not 5. Not intentional or dangerous.

The five minute major is absolutely laughable. I still can't believe it. I'm completely shocked. Worst call I've seen so far this playoff year.

The difference between a minor for elbowing at the very most and a five minute major is HUGE.

Hey I try but looking at the play it looked intentional, and intentional headshots are crappy and don;t belong in the game..if kaleta had done that to someone I bet $ to donuts he'd have been given a game and thrown out. But that's just my opinion..

Paul Hamilton on the Sabres intermission report for the Sabres said that a minor would of sufficed and the call was a joke. He said the Sabres better take this gift and put up a couple of goals.
