The Sabres have always been inconsistent and guilty of not playing a full 60 minutes more than I care to count.

Those 2 missed chances that hit the post really hurt right now.

I just can't believe how many one on ones we deked their guy out of position and they had to dive or go after the stick or whatnot. The result is the same as if they'd driven us wide and we ended up not scoring, but their D coach has to be unloading on them right now.

JVR with another STRONG period. Myers saved a goal, and JVR's had a couple of really good chances. Glad to see that.

Rest of the team, not so much. Versteeg had a good try but that was more because Connolly fell asleep, our forecheck isn't terrible, and our D has been doing well at taking shots when they are available, but holy crap, Carle, take the man or take away the passing lane, because the only thing you took away on the goal was our chance to keep the crowd out of it.
