The 4 Corner Offense continues to be used or at least Harvard was running it the last time I noticed.
Not even close. You are either too young to know about the four corners offense (which is fine, not being critical ... I wish I was that young), and/or definitely not an ACC hoops fan.

So its not enough that Saben gets the best recruits every year.

Now he wants new rules that will help him defend other coaching styles.

He might be the biggest Crybaby fuck ever to coach.

:agree: Saban is for his own almighty. What a fucking PUSSY

Yep, the offense is allowed free substitution but a defense has to abide by the offense's rules. Sounds fair to me.

i thought that if the offense decides to substitute, they have to allow the d to do so as well

if they don't sub, the d doesn't get to either

It's not hard to see the crybaby whiners that are scared of uptempo offenses. Mostly TEAM SEC fans that think that it's not football if you aren't running every play and there HAS to be a problem if your QB can pass for more than 150 yards a game

some of us don't

Actually it's if the offense does sub they must let the defense have the same opportunity. If the offense doesn't sub the defense is still free to sub if they want.

Correct, so the offense is the one who gets to dictate when subs can happen.

You guys just keep teeing it up for me. Ever hear of the 4 corners offense in CBB? And, what exactly did the NCAA do in response to that wonderful offensive strategy? Yeah, that's right, created a frigging shot clock to keep it from being used. LOL.

Because it was boring and fans did not like it, nothing to do with fairness. Now please address the issue. Multiple times people defending this rule have spoken of allowing the defense to get set. That is basically outlawing HUNH, because it is hard to coach against. That is fine if that is your pt, but please just own it. The injuries and substitution bit are tiresome and transparent

LEAVE our game alone......DAMMIT

So you were against the change to a 40 second playclock that allows for these things to happen?

So, allowing the defenses to get set = bad football?

Sounds to me like you just want everyone to not have a functioning defense so that they can be on par with Texas.

No other sport lnds the opposition time to prepare once competition has started and the clock is running.

I expect the defense to be able to function when the cloxk is running. I think most would feel the same way.

Stanford and LSU would beg to differ
