I know, and I dont' want anyone thinking I have any issues with any posters. I wish backroads would not talk about recruiting other sites, but that's the end of it. If others want to go and post others, I'm not the jealous type to really care. But when he takes shots and then talks about how others should leave and "PM me for the address", that shits uncalled for.

I like you UBP. I like everyone who is still here because they didn't try to crap on the floor as they left. I'm man enough to admit there were some hasty decisions made early on in order to stem what we thought was an issue getting out of control, and when I took a fresh look at things I fixed the mistakes.

Guys that came over in the Fannation shut down. Mixed emotions on one and a misunderstanding on the other. But just as we all got clean slates when we arrived from ESPN, we are trying to extend the same courtesy to everyone from FN.

It has worked out well, we got some great new posters and some funny as hell new personalities. Hate that another site has to shut down, but glad we expand our knowledge and mix.

There is plenty of room for all opinions and we aren't going to all agree even "most" of the time. If someone calling out their dissent of your opinion upsets you, then the internet isn't for you. If anyone expects everyone else to have civil discourse, the internet isn't for you.

I think people are letting first impressions still cloud their judgement. I read through the threads here and the general board and don't see really that big a difference between what the older and newer posters are saying. Luckily we don't have the fanboys running around spouting 16-0 and we dont' have the idiots spouts 0-16. We will be in the middle and most of us realize the middle will be a game or two deviation from 8-8.

But the snipping back and forth and "i've been a fan longer" stuff gets us nowhere. Not sure we have anyone here that doesn't know Dallas football or football in general. We have some that are more optimistic/pessimistic that others, but again if you want to get away from that then you will need to start your own forum and block everyone else from ever joining.

Never knew I was famous. Do yourself a favor and look at the posts on which I called txheat a troll. They were snide remarks period. Otis got into when he decided to take heats side. I never asked him to leave and simply told heat if all he want to do I troll remarks he has to understand I for one will defend this board. TxHeat has posted on this board after all this shit went down without being called troll.

In my public conversation with Cali I stated the FN'rs have a different way of talking with each other. They get their kicks throwing barbs back and forth, many of us don't. A FN'er followed verifying that take.
