Of course, maybe Nick is more of a Bonnie Tyler hero and has been holding out on us?
Edit: Beaten once again to the punch by jstew (lol)

the proof is piling up
i cant see him trading the first rounder like you said int he other thread though ... he's not that imbecilic ... seems to be in tank mode without publicizing it
so.... Kesler???Love the trade. Looking at basic stats, and a few highlights, Sutter looks like a two-way C who scores pretty goals, including shorties, and shows up come playoff time. But watching the games, you see that he never generates sustained pressure, isn't that great a shutdown player, and generally doesn't work with his line mates. The advanced stats say the same thing.
so.... Kesler???
(except Kes was a pretty good shutdown player)
the thing about Bonino's stats last year anyways, he was utter magic for the first 14 games (7 goals, 12 points) - but pretty meager for the rest of the year. I don't know which one was the real Bonino.
Hockey fans in the dog days of summer, 43, god bless us one and all.
Did I hear about 4.6 million for BSutter and using Couturier as a comparable?
and 5 years
That is buying up four UFA years though.
a usually Mr positive Lucky Pierre just said in the cesspool that Adam Clendenning isnt an everyday nhl'er
said he has lateral movement and pivoting issues ... yet Ive seen scouting reports that he is a smooth skater
Love him or hate him, Pierre is usually spot on with his analysis
I didn't get the craze for Adam Clendening when the Penguins traded for him, to me, I think those who believe he could step into PIT's top four right now is insane - he's barely even cracked the top six and even that is questionable
Clendening is only 22 and defensemen usually take longer to develop. I definitely think he has potential, but it will be difficult to crack the Pens lineup with all the young defensemen they have.

I'd say Burke & Co. are due for a bad one. Where's the 2015 Mason Raymond and Derek Engellund signings?Jimmy Rutherford has made some pretty good moves this off-season, ergo he'd due for a bad one. Mason Raymond for Adam Clendening, thanks okay bye.
