Comparing Howard's awful slugging percentage to David Freese, Jason Heyward and Kurt Suzuki?

Is he high or something? Freese is a 3rd baseman, Suzuki is a freaking catcher, and Heyward actually gets on base and plays defense.

The rest of his list is just as stupid. I'm surprised Rosenthal didn't mention that Howard's slugging pct last year is 50 points higher than Ozzie Smiths lifetime mark

Sounds like it's time for Howard to break out some catching equipment and learn how to catch the pitches that he can't hit.

I don't see how paying $50M to trade Howard helps this team. Please don't tell me about potential prospects gained in return - Ruben's track record is only failure in this area. RAJ has handled this situation so poorly that Howard's value is in the toilet.

If Ruin Tomorrow Jr. had any foresight, he would have supported Howard through all of his personal/family struggles and hoped that he came out fresh this year hitting for power. Then he could garner some interest. Not publicly distance himself from Howard and float out the Phils' willingness to pay 2/3 of his contract.

Just another stupid mismanagement from the worst general manager in all of sports. It isn't close.
