Well what is a rumor and fact? Glazer and others reported they were 3 1st's and 3 3rd's and Houston turned it down.
Since common sense say's it would be crazy to turn down I'm filing it under rumor.

maybe Wagner wants to play for Quinn again.
Ummmmm
The Seattle Seahawks shocked the NFL world on Tuesday night, releasing All-Pro linebacker Bobby Wagner. This move will save them $16.6 million against the cap.

Since he was released, Wagner can sign with another team before free agency begins on March 16.

Although it’s still early in the Bobby Wagner sweepstakes, a suitor has emerged for his services. ESPN’s Ed Werder “fully expects” the Dallas Cowboys to pursue the talented linebacker.

“Dan Quinn considers Bobby Wagner the greatest linebacker he’s coached, so I fully expect the Cowboys DC to encourage the front office to pursue Wagner as he becomes a free agent available to sign immediately,” Werder said on Wednesday.

With Leighton Vander Esch set to be a free agent, the Cowboys might choose Wagner over him.

There’s no guarantee that Wagner would have interest in signing with Dallas, but his connection with Dan Quinn could play an important role in all of this.

:faint2: sorry...I had to give Ed the scoop

After this is over or before this happened no team can afford to top that offer.
I think someone can match that with a different version. 3 1st’s, picks and a player. The problem is we never see this happen. A star, franchise QB in his prime traded…very rare

Lock isn't even better than Geno Smith, so idk what the point of that is.

Lock at least has some potential upside whereas Geno at this point likely leaked in his career last season when he almost lead that comeback before throwing an INT after Russell first went out.

For the Wilson is declining people

This is the main problem with Wilson which you will soon find out. He has stretches of games where he is the league MVP then half of the others the punter is the MVP.

Michael Dickson is a very good punter though so it makes sense.

So was Ryan. This isn’t a slight at Russell Wilson at all but there is a reason since 2014 he is either the 1st half or 2nd half of the season MVP but can’t ever get a vote.

Teams offered 3 1st's + more picks and/or players before the deadline...why would that price go down if his legal issues are resolved? You think teams are going to care about potentially half season suspension...he is 26.

I don't know if I buy that. If Houston didn't take that, they are idiots (which, I guess could be true considering their recent track record).

But who was reporting that and what teams were supposedly involved? We'll likely never know, but Houston very well could have been trying to drive up the price by leaking exaggerated offers or even flat out disinformation.

I am aware that he's 26, but he has a lot of baggage.

For at least 6 games a year with Russell at QB, yes the punter does take all of the glory. How many many playoff games has Russell won since the LOB was disbanded?
