Huge loss for a team that's offensive line has struggled so far this year and in the preseason.

Keep in mind he has had ankle problems before. He was able to stay healthy last year but has had a history of injury concerns. Not good, not good.

Can't edit the title but they said on T.V. that it was his foot, possibly his big toe.

All I know is we need him... You see just how good he is when he's not there... Very important player on that line of ours...

After leaving, the Seahawks gave up 2 sacks to Aldon Smith on the left side of the line, Aldon Smith was neutralized with Okung on the field but since leaving he has been creating havoc for Wilson.

When Okung was on the left, the 9ers wouldn't even line him up over there. They were putting him at NT and trying to stunt him into an open rush lane.

Intially turf toe is being thrown out there, but Im sure we will know more tommorrow. Mcquistin struggled out there initials but played better in the 2nd half. Hopefully get him back for week 4, I dont mind him sitting next week if he needs to heal

The commentator spoke with the team officials and Okung got x-rayed and they stated it was not his ankle but his toe (Thats why they kinda thought he might come back in),but yeah we will know more later.

If he has to sit against anyone, Jacksonville is a good team to sit against, but the drop off in protection was obvious when he went out. Hopefully it's minor and sitting a week, if he does, will help for the game against Houston in a couple weeks.

Okung is frustrating. I wish he could just stay healthy for a whole season.

He was healthy all last season wasn't he? I could be wrong but I don't remember him missing any time.

Turf toe can be a nag but I bet he bounces back. He shouldn't miss any significant time.

I'm not sure. I would have to look. If he played the entire season, it would be surprising.

Just looked and he started 15 games, so thats practically the whole season. He's awesome when he plays, its just sad he had or has those ankle issues. Hopefully this toe isn't a big deal.

Yes, he played all 16 games last year.

Just saw on ESPN, a torn ligament in toe. Looks like we will be down a LT for a bit. Not sure how long he will be out, but McQuistan and Carp need to step up in the meantime.

Better not be too much time, our OC is too stupid to know what to do with a revolving door at LT.

That is extremely frustrating that Okung will be out for a while, Aldon Smith started wrecking havoc as soon as Okung went down.

First of all, Mcquistan rarely took snaps at LT in the preseason and none in practice last week. So asking him to contain one of the best pass rushers in football with no recent LT experience is unrealistic. I did think he looked much better in the 2nd half.
Next man up if he is out. Opportunity for guys like Bailey and Bowie to get more experience. I will still wait until we get the full report before I overreact. Remember with the Harvin situation it was more important for people to be 1st then right about their facts.
