He just signed a 2-year deal. I wonder if this enables the Warriors to move Klay in a Love deal. Rush is essentially a poor-man's Klay. Should be interesting.

Very nice get for us. Low risk, high reward. He's essentially signing for the vet minimum. If he can bring his solid 3 point shooting and defense, he'll be a huge help.

He must've looked good at the Las Vegas workout which the W's attended. If he truly is healthy again, this is another great pickup by Myers to go along with Livingston. We've got alot of bets placed on bad knees lol...

Not bad, low risk, and he has size. Could always shoot the corner 3, and play defense.

If he isn't asked to play more than 15 minutes a night, the Dubs will love this deal.

But, will they LOVE it? :noidea:

Livingston and Rush are both low risk, high reward for us off the bench. They both have size to defend covering the perimeter and can score points. As for Klay, I'd hate to lose him for Love, but it's looking pretty crowded in the backcourt right now. Nice to have backcourt options, though.

Love + Rush or Livy >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Klay + current roster

You gotta do this, right? :noidea:

PS: Just worried what it does to Steph's already fragile psyche.

I could certainly be wrong, but I don't see the signings of Livingston and Rush as being linked to a trade for Kevin Love. The Warriors needed a massive upgrade to their woeful bench, and quality backups for the Splash Brothers, so that's what these signings are IMO.

Rush didn't look great in Utah. I'll be rooting for him though.

He was 1 year off a bad injury last season. He looked good at his workout in Las Vegas

You know the Warriors have done their proper due diligence on this one. He wouldn't have been signed unless he demonstrated that he was healthy during the LV workout.

Sounds about right, to me he won't get major minutes barring injury.

But with a "deep bench", HB, D.Green, Livingston, Barbosa, FE ? , I don't see Rush or any of the bench players getting heavy run. Maybe there will be a Nedo, Kuzmic, Macadoo , Craft sightening in there somewhere.

Which will bold well if we get to the playoffs and make our run. Keep the players fresh.

If you follow the Spurs' playbook, rest and depth play an important role. I think Dray could become an excellent 6th man. His game is slightly unpolished but he is extra alert, hard nosed, into it, makes quick decisions and his o/s shot looks pretty good too.

Both Rush and Barbosa will be fighting for backup minutes. Livingston is clearly entrenched in the backup role and will play both the PG and SG positions.

For arguments sake lets say Klay and Steph play 36 minutes each per game. That's 12 minutes available at both spots. Livingston gets the full 12 at backup PG. He'll probably get at least another 5 at SG, next to Curry. That leaves roughly 7 minutes a night open for a back up SG (barring obviously foul trouble, etc.). Barnes is back up SF. Draymond will back up 3/4. Speights has 4/5. Ezeli 5.

I think Kerr will go with a 9 man rotation, possibly stretching to 10 some nights. I wouldn't count on anywhere close to 15 a night for either Rush or Barbosa.
