Rules you would like to see changed before the start of 2014 season

Hurry Up Offense - should be slowed down (to a degree), there are too many illegal formation and procedure penalties being missed because the refs do not have time to go through their checks, that alone gives the offense too much of an advantage.

I am with you on the first two but the hurry up...well if the refs cant keep up then they need to get refs that can.

I'd just like to see more power given to replay. For instance, if a play is under review for the QB crossing the line of scrimmage on a pass play yet replay shows 2 linemen 5 yards downfield, then ineligible receivers downfield would be the correct call.

The only Alabama specific rule change is that we should be spotted 10 yards on all field goal attempts.

Just do like the Big 12 and put another official on the field whose sole responsibility is to spot the ball letting the other officials take care of the rest. As for pass interference I'm not sure, look at the NFL it becomes a "given" play in the last 2 minutes of some games. Though both feet down in bounds for a catch I would like to see.

Naw, I'm don't like rewarding mediocrity. Keep it to where they have to at least make an effort to get into scoring position.

less kickers. If anything narrow them by 5 feet and adopt the NFL rule (where you kick from if missed is where the other team takes possession rather than the line of scrimmage.)

The only thing I dislike about that rule is the defense can try to block the kick, thus the distance from the center to the holder. Make it where the defense can't cross the line of scrimmage to block the kick and then I would I would agree with that more.

Make it roughing the kicker, or nothing at all.

I don't like not rewarding defensive effort. It's a needless advantage to the offense, in my opinion.

Do away with the QB's ability to throw it away outside the tackle box and past the line of scrimmage.
It's a pussy rule. Either run your way out of it or get it within 10yds of a receiver.
