Meh, he can break tackles. I don't scout FB's often. Will help on special teams.

Agree- Seems like Elway is really searching for special teams guys in rd 6 and 7 last 3 years.

Then the Chiefs grab guys like Tyreek Hill and DJ White :(

The only thing I have to say about him - he must have Russian background with that name.

Of course Vich means son of - so he is son of Jano. Hopefully not related to any Raider player!

Lot of nice runs for a fb and good middle field special teams play

I wanna say he broke off a game winner or one to send a game into OT. I remember him running over a LB and taking it to the house.

I see way more that special teams with this pick

We are developing something on offense that puts an emphasis on power and strength - - case in point, McGovern is reported to be the strongest linemen in the draft, and watching Janovich it is apparent that he can not only run guys over, he can catch out of the backfield

We are going with what Gary Kubiak wants on offense

With Bruton gone we need that leader on special teams. :)

Janovich is a stud on ST's and could develop into a good FB.

Kubiak said he wanted a FB for the offense. I love this pick. Our offense seriously lacked power in the short yardage game last year, even with a bruiser like Anderson. This guy in front of Hillman could be lethal. Home run potential. In front of Anderson it's almost unfair. I love this pick. I love offenses that punish the enemy.

Saw nothing on tape that indicates he can catch the ball, but a good athlete for sure and strong. I might be more excited for his special teams ability than his blocking/running haha

Gives the Broncos a legit FB - and a Special Teams player to justify his roster spot when the Broncos go 3 WRs.

His highlights do show a nice route and catch similar to what he will be asked to do in Denver. Didn't seem to fight the ball but one play s... One play. I remember him from some braska games and seems like a guy teammates rally around

Locker room - special teams = Full Back - pass receiver - very good addition. The Broncos are definitely trying to field a Kubiak offense next season.

We signed James Casey last year not for special teams, but to run what Kubiak wants on offense ... When it was obvious that Manning wasn't comfortable, Casey was gone ..

This is a different mindset ..

Just because Janovich was not used much as a receiver doesn't mean we won't use him that way ..

It's hard to find anything on him other than highlights, but with the catch at the :50 sec mark, he looks pretty natural to my eye

Special teams a definite plus

I mean when was the last time we drafted a FB?

Detron Smith back when I was in grade school is the only one I can think of.

Technically, Hillis was a FB coming out of Arkansas (and for a bit early on, looked like the best HB out of the three razorback backs in that draft).

Well if he's anything like Hillis everyone hide your wives.

Well I will say this...the Broncos offense this next year will look nothing like it did last year. Pretty much scrap everything you saw last year. Kubiak is going back to the old school ways. Which honestly I think is a great idea. Just look at the draft. Most teams picked Front-7 guys more geared towards stopping the pass than stopping the run. So teams have gotten much lighter up front where now we throw a pretty athletic OL at them, FB crashing down on somebody and 2 RB's that both have power and decent speed coming out of the backfield. I like what we are building.
