Is Sutton going to be on this team? I say no ? Because of the two WR's we Drafted . Franklin IMO makes him Expendable

I know everyone loves Franklin and Vele and they were great picks, but these kids have never taken an NFL snap. Without Sutton on this roster it is a very unproven WR room with Josh Reynolds as the #1 and that would be a disservice to whatever QB starts the season. Sutton may be unhappy but he will show up and play because if he doesn't there goes his next contract.

I think @Mountain Bronco has it right. Payton wants Sutton playing for his next contract this season while still a Bronco. The new guys are just loading up for injuries or next year.

What's cool is that means Sean Payton thinks he is going to compete for a playoff spot this year. If he didn't think that - move Sutton while you can and obtain rights for talent later.

I figure Patrick, Humphries and Mims would hold things down as the rookies slowly play in, similar to Mims last year. I don't think we're weak at wr by any stretch of the imagination. But we are stronger with Sutton and I doubt he's traded

I am not saying we will know until preseason is over .. I could see us dropping/trading him all the same

Well yes we want to win and Sutton helps but we are paying off as well .. IMO these Young players playing if they are solid you will know after preseason .. If Sutton does not play all Preseason . why bother with him ! Trade him

I think the biggest point with Sutton that people are failing to realize is that we aren't going to get his value back in a trade right now. What's the point in trading him? He is our best WR and the value isn't worth a trade right now. Bottom line.

I am as high on Franklin and Mims as @femurov is after smoking a blunt but like MB said, the experience factor and combine that with lack of value and we already have Sutton fit in under our current cap situation going into this season so unlike Jeudy we aren't going to just give the guy away.

A young QB needs an experienced WR to grow.

Timing .....His timing will be off with the New QB. let the new QB develop with the team he will see in front of him . Trade Sutton if he is setting out of training camp. I get he is decent but...Timing is made not given

I thought someone said there was a blunt being smoked in this thread... I am very disappointed.

I think the time to trade him for best value is when other teams start racking up the IR type injuries.

Yep. You just don't trade him to trade him. There has to be value in return. Right now we don't get value for him.

Well useful in money Gone but I do like mingo idea way better besides if we are doing good by then and his timing is not nutsy and we are winning ..keep him . I just think the QB we have he just might not be needed no more . He makes inaccurate QB's look good. IMO those days are long Gone.

I want this team fixed money wise . and developing Winning is always bottom line .... But I want to be long term and that is developing who is here not a one year for all the marbles .. IMO next year is developing . not a SB run . so unless Sutton is long term? Bye!
