TD #2... I love him.

I love Mims

I love you all!!!!

I was so happy to see the Broncos finally stop giving Humphrey those screen passes. Mims and Franklin should get the majority of them with their quickness/speed.

I saw an extended recent interview of Mims - and was drawn to what a nice guy he is.

Lil'Jordan Humphrey gets some well-earned criticism around here - but he also makes plays. That's what is tantalizing about him - plus he is handy posting up and blocking downfield.

The problem is he is either really really good or really really bad. There isn't much in between for him. So yes there are the flash plays that give you a little bit of hope, but he has such negative plays that can cost a team the game. Usually those type of players are tough to keep around. You need someone you can trust on a play by play basis. Makes me think of Trendon Holliday. That guy was a big play waiting to happen and there were a couple of games where his big plays helped us win. But he also cost us a couple because of his inability to hold onto the ball.

Super nice guy. Doesn’t like attention. Great personality.

I'm glad to see them starting to figure out how to use his skill set. I think many expected him to jump in and take Jeudy's spot but they have very different types of skill sets. I think he can improve as a route runner and become a little more of that type of guy, but right now I would love to see them continue this path of moving him all around and especially giving him about 5-7 snaps at RB a game where he can take a handoff and it turn into something great or have to worry about him running out of that backfield against a LB/S...good luck with that coverage.

Dulcich was supposed to be his "Joker" but now he's finding that kind of role for Mims. Brilliant.

That is a sign of good coaching when you can pivot. Too often coaches get stuck on their first idea and refuse to admit it failed. Took 2 games for the Broncos to move on from the Dulcich experiment. And with Mims I'm glad they saw that there is obvious talent with the kid, but he might not fit the usual role of an outside receiver like they were hoping. So then they again pivoted to see what could work with his skillset and are now forcing teams to have to be ready when Mims lines up in the backfield for about anything.

Payton wasn't the HC when Dulcich was drafted... When Payton took the HC job at Denver he was asked about Dulcich and his reply was "His film was tough to watch." He gave him and chance and he didn't stay healthy and wasn't productive. I think Payton is just not a fan. He isn't what Payton wants in a TE. Payton isn't a fan of a one tricky pony at TE. Dulcich isn't his type of TE. He will probably set him free after the season. Doubt he has any trade value at this point.

The coaches are working overtime to find ways to get players on the field. Mims has not secured a spot in the WR rotation but has value besides the ST. Impressive.

Mims snaps at WR went way up last week and finding ways to use him out of the backfield was brilliant. Finally starting to use him like he should be. Amp it up a bit more now... Baby steps... We are getting close.
