Not too surprised. Lanier outplayed him and deserved the spot. They will bring him back to the PS if he isn't claimed and I don't think he will be. Gives him a year to work on his game. Sometimes young guys need that. Good job by SM finding Lanier.

Something tells me Kelly is the starter by week six. And Mack Brown goes back to the practice squad unless he gets an offer to play else where.

Unless Jones really surprises me, we will be drafting a RB next year.

OK so while Im not thrilled with our RB group, and I have concerns with the D-line, over all IM actually pretty good with the fact that we havent found it imperative to trade a high draft pick to bring some one in. Also pretty ok with the idea that we havent scrambled to pick up some other teams castoffs. Sure this could change and we might grab some one over the next few days. But IM good with it for now.

Not sure I like keeping 6 WR's,, in essence only 5 with Doctson being a question mark, but the others seem scrubs. Not sure why they don't like Mack Brown,, must be a work ethic in practice. Anyway, surprised they kept Suds... I mean why carry 3. KC doesnt seem to get hurt,, not saying he can't but then Colt doesnt either,, seems a wasted spot.
