Interesting news item from @MBachCSN, who reports that Drew Rosenhaus will meet w/ 49ers brass. Bodes well for Goldson deal, Gore extension.

Good News! I read there was hope, or expectation, to ink an extension before the first pre-season game. I hope we can get this guy a few games in deep January before he hangs up his cleats. He has more than earned it!

Yeah, it would definitely be nice to get Gore a ring before he is done. He deserves it

If Goldson re-signs, the secondary could be decent. We'd have Rogers, a few viable options at safety and hopefully an improved pass rush. I'm not claiming dominant, but good enough to keep us in the hunt.
