+5 today and he can still win it..... crazy!
Huge gag job on the back nine but a great shot in there on 18 for the eagle opprtunity but couldn't follow it up. Looking forward to the playoff.+5 today and he can still win it..... crazy!

Any time you shoot a 76, 5 over par you should not win a tournament.
With that said-- Rory played his heart out this week
At least he had the balls to take a post round interview and answer questions. Woods would not have done that.
Agreed. But then again, never saw Woods crap his pants as bad as McIlroy did though
He did it yesterday. A 67 (3 under) on Sunday puts him in a playoff but instead he melted down and was 6 over when he quit on 13.

So you're equating someone that failed was playing poorly due to a health issue that eventually forced him to WD to someone that had a 60 hole lead then played 5 over the 12 holes?

Glad to see Henley (sp?) come back and win that Tourney, thought he was toast after hitting into the water on that par 3 and posting a double.
Rory was all class in his post tourney interview. Guy had no problem pointing out his back nine meltdown shots with grace. Guy's like that overcome those mental faults quicker than most. He is playing well heading towards Augusta.
I'll toss him as an early favorite to win the Masters. As most others would too.
I would place Rory in the top5, NOT as the favorite. To many Euros play well @ Augusta.
Still a month to go...Rory is definitely top 5...but if Stenson can re-engage I like his chances...Bubba...if the weather doesn't dry out here in the next 3 weeks it's likely to play long and slow.

Long-n-straight works well at Augusta, but the short game and putting will trump the long ball everytime.
