But just for future leagues, anytime we are doing a league that differentiates HOF with NON HOF players, we need to not use any current players or not yet eligible players... Or count them as HOF already...

Maybe that's why I always get kicked out in the first round... I don't believe in getting the best players, I like to get the best players for the team I want to make... and I know there are other players similar to Gehrig for the role I would want Gehrig to play... While there are other spots that I would prefer that great player at...

Being a fan does not mean you need to be blind, you can like your team and your players but accept that a different player would have been better for your team...

Joe DiMaggio was almost traded to the redsox for Ted Williams early on in their careers... If that happened both players would have had a better career since both were better fits for the other team...
