Wouldn't it be something if Cowboys signed Tebow, Orton struggled or got banged up and Tebow came in and … deja Denver?

He couldnt help himself, it's like a crackhead with a rock sitting in front on them on a coke can.

I've always assumed Skip Bayless was just a masterful troll, but sometimes I really do wonder if he is being serious.

Maybe the Cowboys will actually use Murray now. A heavy dose of Murray with Orton making smart, high percentage throws could very well beat the Eagles. Orton isn't terrible. He's a capable guy. Not a long term starter but he's what you want in a back up.

Oh who am I kidding. It's Dallas. Murray will get 60 yard and TD on 10 carries and will lead 10-7 going to the half. But then they'll bench him to let Orton throw 50 times and the final score will be 58-10 Eagles win.

All the Romo bashing aside he is a tough son of a bitch, always has been. This NFC East Championship game is starting to reek of the "nobody believes in us" theory for the Cowboys. Everyone will be picking Philly now, don't be shocked if the Cowboys pull it out.

The Cowboys will probably pull it out, because Romo will be cheering with the cheerleaders.

Also for those who don't know, Skip Bayless's claim to fame, the sports writer in Dallas who broke the SMU scandel in the early 80's.

"We have Kyle Orton here for a reason," Garrett said. "Kyle prepares like he's the starting quarterback each and every week."

a look at some of Orton's best games in the NFL:
37 of 57 (64.91%) 476 yds, 1 TD, 1 INT
28 of 40 (70.00%) 370 yds, 1 TD, 1 INT
24 of 41 (58.54%) 347 yds, 3 TD, 0 INT
35 of 50 (70.00%) 341 yds, 2 TD, 1 INT
24 of 34 (70.59%) 334 yds, 2 TD, 0 INT
35 of 48 (72.92%) 330 yds, 2 TD, 1 INT
25 of 35 (71.43%) 307 yds, 2 TD, 0 INT
23 of 31 (74.19%) 299 yds, 0 TD, 0 INT
22 of 34 (64.71%) 296 yds, 4 TD, 0 INT
21 of 32 (65.63%) 283 yds, 2 TD, 0 INT
29 of 41 (70.73%) 277 yds, 2 TD, 1 INT
20 of 29 (68.97%) 243 yds, 2 TD, 0 INT
20 of 29 (68.97%) 229 yds, 2 TD, 0 INT

And this is what makes the Eagles such a dangerous team. They can run and pass with equal effectiveness. When that defense plays up to par, that's a hard team to stop.

I think Vick's time as a starter is up in the league now. Foles is clearly the man now.

and this is why the Eagles are a very dangerous team. Foles is becoming a very good QB and add into the game plan their running game and they could run the table. Eagles defense seems legit as welll.

Eagles Defense seams legit? Really? They are 30th in total defense, 30th in passing defense, 12th in rushing defense, and dead middle in points allowed. That sounds like an average at best defense but leaning much closer to a below average defense.

I agree that they could be a dangerous team come playoff time though but thats going to be due to there offense.. not the defense.

Seeing a really good player go down with an injury is terrible for the game we all love. Especially at the QB position. Having it happen before a playoff deciding game is crushing. I am no fan of the cowboys, in fact I have more reason than most to wish only terrible seasons for them, but I never wish an injury on ANY player, ever.

Wishing Romo every hope for a speedy return and every best wish for a healthy recovery.

Fans of the game should want the BEST players on the field and then have their teams win dominantly, with those players, playing. That's the true measure and test of the greatest teams.

here is a chance for all of the Cowboys fans who wanted Romo out to see just how good they'll be without him

I guess if you want to find some hope as a Cowboys fan, you look at the following:

- Dallas held Philadelphia to 3 points last time they met. In regards to the counter argument about Foles leaving with a concusion? He left in the 4th quarter. He just wasn't getting the job done that day.

- Dallas is running the ball well. Without Romo there to lean on, it would suggest they'll run the ball more, eat up more clock, keep their defense off the field, and most importantly, keep the Eagles offense off the field.

- Dwayne Harris should be back. He's been a good return man for them, and they'll need his help on Sunday.

- Orton doesn't have a history of being a turnover machine. Make Philadelphia's offense earn their points.

- As easy as it is to pass on Dallas, it's not much more difficult to pass on Philly.

It should be an up hill battle for Dallas for sure, but they're not facing insurmountable odds.

I live in Dallas. As of yet, the Cowboys have not officially ruled out Romo for Sunday night's game. My guess is they won't do that until Friday at the earliest.

Whether he plays or not depends on the disc. If it's just a matter of pain, Tony can probably play through that. After all, he has played through a broken finger, a cracked rib, and a collapsed lung. He's one tough SOB.

If the disc affects his movement to the point that he can't move, that's another story. He'll probably have to sit this one out. Stay tuned.
