How many times can Jason Garrett say, "play at a high level or process?"

It doesn't sound like he us guaranteed not to play.

From See BS:

Cowboys coach Jason Garrett says QB Tony Romo is undergoing treatment for a back injury, and has not been ruled out, contrary to multiple reports.

I feel bad for Kyle Orton. He was probably at his house kicking it with some Oreos and milk watching some CFB and then boom! 'WTF? Ive got to work! Damn you, Romo!'

As an EAGLES fan, I am not really sure this helps them.

The pressure and failures of December's past would have likely been impossible to overcome if the Cowboys had any early missteps.

It is not necessarily fair, but I am not sure Romo would have succeeded in that environment of pressure. I am not sure Joe Montana could have either..... the Romo pressure is absurd.

Kyle Orton is a 10 year professional who gets to play with essentially house money and zero pressure personally now.

Im not sure there is any time in Dallas where the starting QB doesnt have boatloads of pressure on them....Now it is on Orton unless there is a FA out there someone knows about that could step in. Ring, Ring, Bret Farve....and NO DICK PICS!

You're happy to see the injury to Romo because their fans will be pissed.

Yet you get pissed when people talk about Kobe's future because of his current injuries.

dumb trolling = DUMB!

All the Romo bashing aside he is a tough son of a bitch, always has been. This NFC East Championship game is starting to reek of the "nobody believes in us" theory for the Cowboys. Everyone will be picking Philly now, don't be shocked if the Cowboys pull it out.

I assume it will be either Tebow or Trent Edwards that get the 2nd string nod. Although, Tebow seems to be focusing on a different career choice. If I was crazy Jerry Id get him for the jersey sales alone. But right now Id bet on it being Edwards.

Well, this could be a golden opportunity. Romo's career ends. Texans give Jerry #1 pick for the Cowboys entire 2013 draft. Jerry selects Johnny Football.

The romo pressure isn't absurd. He's earned every ounce and then some.

I think Jerry Jones made sure Romo had a back injury because he wants to justify going back on his word & firing his ginger head coach. Except he figured wrong; the Cowboys might accidentally win now.

Y! SPORTS

Odd that the 'Boys haven't confirmed this yet. If his disk it that bad, he's done. I don't think you can medically clear him to play like that, no matter how badly the staff - or even Romo - want it.

Don't think he'll need it to get Johnny.

He's not expected to go until around the 23rd pick or so (give or take a few), and Dallas should be picking prior to that anyway.

Wouldn't it be something if Cowboys signed Tebow, Orton struggled or got banged up and Tebow came in and … deja Denver?
