Apparently nothing as yet to stop either of them joining with CBC on a bid for HNIC. Bell likely wouldn't. Rogers a good chance.

That would likely be the case, Boss - However, if CBC loses HNIC, you might as well shut down CBC as well, Dragon's Den and Rick Mercer ain't enough to save the network.

How could you not mention Peter Mansbridge and The National?

As for their extended sports coverage.Who in the fuck wants to watch Equestrian (horse jumping)?

Wow that would suck big time, Not only for hockey fans in the States but the future television market in Canada. Sounds like bad news dash.

It sucks, but so few cities in the United States get CBC that I think the effect it would have on American viewers is close to negligible.

What might hurt a lot more is if a network ponies up a ton of money for the rights to HNIC only to have no games to show this season.
