"I could tell 10 minutes into our conversation that I was wasting my time," Roenick wrote. "He considered my arrival at his house an intrusion. He listened to me, but he never did anything to change the way he was."
So you think just because you drove over to a guys house and told him how you would like him to "change the way he is" that he now owes it to you to change his entire approach to his career and act how you see fit? Talk about an overstated sense of self.
JR used to be my favorite player. I grew up near Chicago and loved the way he played. But he's turned into a fucking idiot since he retired. Just doing anything to get attention....
He can get annoying, but come on, all the talent that marleau has, if he played with 1/2 the passion Roenick played with can you imagine what an unstoppable force the guy would be... Its drives us nuts watching his passionate-less ass float around, imagine how annoying that had to be actually playing with the guy...
Its like a lazy-ass manager at work, you wonder how the hell they got that far in there career, and no matter how many times you or their bosses yell at them to pick it up, they just dont... And they dont get fired, they just somehow keep sticking around dragging the rest of the workers/teamates down with there lazyness... And when they do have that one good day at work, they get all the praise in the world... Marleau is that lazy ass manager we've all worked with before...
