Dang, that sucks about Randle. There goes a season of development. I don't think it will affect the Lakers record wise though this season. You just lose the development time.

No - the Lakers made too many bets with old players like Kobe, Boozer, Nash and etc. They would have been better off blowing up the entire team including Kobe and starting with a young group that they could have started to develop.

Early reports indicate Randle has a broken right tibia which is the bigger bone in the lower leg. He's done for the year and he'll probably go into surgery.
