Rock n Roll March Madness Bracket

I have wanted to do this forever. I have no idea how to start or how it would play out so suggestions along the way would be helpful.

The funnest part would be seeding the bands.

64 bands. 4 brackets. 4 - 1 seeds, 4 - 2 seeds and so on all the way to 4 - 16 seeds.

Lets see if we can start the seeding process. Lets take some nominees for #1 seeds first and move on from there.

I think The Beatles are a guaranteed one seed.

I also would put Led Zep as a one for sure.

Other 1 seed nominees for me.... Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Elvis, Hendrix,

Lets have some suggestions and finalize the ones and move on to the 2's. I will do my best to keep this updated on the reg for seeds. Once we get the 64 I will try to build a bracket we can vote on.

Here is the thing with Dylan and I am a huge Dylan fan. He was a great song writer but his concerts suck and how an artist relates to a crowd is critical to being a " Rock and Roll" type guy or band.

I can see him as a four there are enough old timers here that can appreciate what he meant to an era and enough who will recognize him has arguable the best song writer ever.

Which region should I put The Who in? Def not with the loaded Liverpool region. The Beatles, Queen and The Who is BRUTAL!
