You don't know Pete Townsend well I guess. He did that for show, that wasn't his guitar playing norm. He's a top 50 guitarist. Keith Moon is a top 3 drummer. Endwhistle is the best at Bass and Daltry is a top 10 vocalist.

I'll give Campbell being a better guitar player than Cash, but Johnny was no slouch himself.

When it came to songwriting(which is very important to me if you can't tell), stage command and quality of the song, Johnny wins easily.

No Campbell didn't really have a strong songwriting resume but I judge him on his performances.
