Rob Gronkowski will unveil 'next chapter' at Aug. 27 press conference
Clarity on recently retired tight end Rob Gronkowski's future is coming in just two weeks.
According to his PR group, the 30-year-old Gronkowski will hold an invite-only press conference in New York City on Aug. 27 where he will announce his "next chapter." Per the press release, the announcement will come at 9:30 a.m., with questions from the assembled media at 10:30 a.m. That'd probably make this upcoming announcement the lengthiest press conference of Gronkowski's career both on and off the field, all things considered.
What this "next chapter" entails is anybody's guess.
Gronkowski has been linked to the WWE since he first made a guest appearance in the squared circle at Wrestlemania 33 in 2017. WWE's Stephanie McMahon said earlier this year that she would love to sign Gronkowski, and Gronkowski was spotted with WWE superstars at a charity event shortly after his retirement. Gronk's good friend and WWE superstar Mojo Rawley, meanwhile, has consistently suggested that Gronkowski could make the leap to pro wrestling.
Or perhaps a less physical form of acting is in Gronkowski's sights, be it as a broadcaster or Hollywood actor. Gronkowski currently has 12 actor credits to his name, courtesy of the ex-Patriot's IMDB page.
Reading into the "next chapter" aspect of the release, it's possible that Gronkowski has another book coming out as a follow up to 'It's Good To Be Gronk', which came out in 2015.
But the fact that this is being called a "next chapter" would seem to indicate that it does not involve football or a return to the Patriots, even with countless reports suggesting that Gronkowski could rejoin the Patriots in the 2019 season.
"I identify as a female"
Full time character in the WWE.
he looks REALLY thin now relatively speaking.
well that means he is retired for all time now.
He'll never pass an NFL drug test ever again if this is true.

Dunkin Donuts employee
New mascot for the Bruins.
This is it. Then when he wraps that up he will start showing up in mrwallace2k's searches.
If I were him, I'd totally do this for all the Boston teams. Just solidify his legend in that town. Buy, or be gifted, front row season tickets to Bruins and Celts and BoSox and just be the crazy fan that the TV loves to show. Dress like a superfan and just party like an idiot...be every mans hero.
Or better yet sign up with the teams to get random seats throughout the season and advertise it as "sit with the Gronk". He could be in any seat in any section, but that's instantly the party section and you never know where it will be until game time. Holy crap, Cuban could market that shit.
Shit, beat me to it. Lol
