Rob Blake set to hang em up

He played well this post season. I wouldn't mind if he came back and played on the third pairing for one year deal (cheap deal).

I wouldn't mind having him do some coaching with the team. He is a smart player. Maybe he can teach our young guys how to hip check. Or as my mom used to say "Throw your ass into him Blake."

Aside from being smart, he's seems to be somebody that any age player on the team would listen to.

Smart Dman. Patient and good with his stick. I think there was a reasib that Vlassic was always paired with him.

One of the few players in the league who still delivered the HIP CHECK & he had it down to a science. I wish him the best in his retirement.

Being on the East Coast I didn't see enough of the guy throughout his career - bummer.
