Kansas City is third to last in major league baseball in runs scored. They are 28th. They have put 18 runs up on the Mariners through 2 1/3 games so far.

This is a great example of why I never think the easy part of the schedule are guaranteed wins

we have no closer. It’s going to cost us more games down the road if our bullpen can’t figure it out. Brash and Munoz have been terrible in that role

Sewald has three straight saves with Arizona without giving up a run. Imagine if we would’ve had that against Baltimore.

Would have been nice but again Jerry making the wrong moves at the wrong time again.

Matchups can do that though, even though their pitchers aren’t great for whatever reason they’re better against us… I remember Magic Johnson saying that how sometimes teams just cause you problems even if they’re record sucks against everybody else…

Maybe for a game but they struggled to put away this Double A team in a 3 game series.

This is what I don’t get though. It’s not like they are guys that have earned the we are the set up guy/closer guys no matter what. Whether the front office or coaching staff wants it or not, they are in a wildcard chase and need to figure it out and quickly. If they don’t reach the playoffs this year because they didn’t have a closer after trading away their closer is going to make for an ugly offseason.
