He only has 20 more hits..61....

He still..has work to.do.in the derection he goes..

Yes this is with more season to go but..
Only..20..hits can improve..and less strike outs can improve..
By pitch recognition...

Then what to do..with..certain pitches..

A while to gain an other..
But it's faster..
Than looking for an other good starter....

And young ones can take much longer.

Funny how people say anybody can close out games. That isn't true. It takes a special breed to pitch in a high level situations which Sewald could do. He had command and pitch location that made him dominate. Yep he gave up a save or two like most pure closers but he's light years better than what Seattle is putting out now.

What on earth makes skip think munoz needs to be in as our closer ?

ANYbody but him right now - he is a fucking zoo on the mound

Grooving an 0-2 fastball right down the middle to Perez and luckily he fouls it off then throws a ball 2 feet off the plate perez laughs at and then the money pitch - game tying hit is a 1-2 count fastball up top of the strike zone clearly in the big guys wheel house and he laced it for a game tying single.

He has zero control and just throwing the ball and clearly not pitching.

He needs demoted to inning eater in a blow out. ANY reliever but him is better than watching Munoz give away games in the last inning
