Not sure, ghost runners kind of fuck a lot of things up. It's an inherited runner and wasn't an earned run, but whether or not he sees a blown save on his stats, the chance to win the game on his arm was lost. He did work out of a jam to give them a chance, but the damage was done.Does that count as a blown save with the runner on 2nd BS?
He was bad enough that I had to check to make sure Angel Hernandez hadn't snuck onto the field out of retirement.Umpires need to be replaced. All of them.
that sucked
munoz was due
i'm very disappointed in bryce miller. he's better than this.
Ya he hasn't even been close on his pitches which runs his numbers up into the 20's per inning. Unacceptable. He is showing he is a T-Mobile made pitcher. Outside of there he is barely average. Maybe not even that.No question about the A's being a solid lineup.
Miller hasn't been able to get out of the 6th inning in any of his starts. His season has disappointing by any metric. But plenty of starts left to find his fastball again. I believe he'll get back his pervious form. Just a question of when.
It does count as a blown save. Imo it shouldn't, allowing the ghost runner to tie the game in extras, but nothing else should NOT be a blown save. It's stupid, but there seems to be a lot of stupid in MLB these days.Does that count as a blown save with the runner on 2nd BS?
