Another great outing by Perez. Too bad his wild pitch cost him the win. Ouch.

Would just like to add several things.

looks like the board is wrong about kole Calhoun. He’s 100 times better than the other Calhoun. All kole has done is show that he wants to be here, had a good attitude, and played hard. The complete opposite of Willy. I want Willy out of the organization asap.

it looks like Perez has blossomed and I would like for him to be in the rotation for the next few years.

don’t trade Duran. I’ve always been very high on him.

El Bombi appears to be slumping a bit,
He does most of his damage when the team is behind and late in the game I can handle that. His average is coming up slowly but surely since he dug a big hole for himself early in the season...

Too bad they don't keep track of GW RBIs anymore it would be interesting to see how many he has, last night was one...

He's an enigma. His first 2 AB looked like shit, then I wake up to see he hit two doubles and drove in the game winner

From Jeff Wilson:

Only two pitchers in Rangers history have made seven straight starts of at least six innings with no more than one run allowed.

One of them is in the National Baseball Hall of Fame. That would be Gaylord Perry.

The other is Martin Perez, who continued his career-best stretch Thursday with seven innings of one-run ball.

Funny isn't it. Perez and Calhoun were on the first train leaving town with tickets bought by this board. Maybe FO knows more than they get credit for.

Well, to be fair to the board, Howard and Willie were on the board's first train. Lol
