I can't see us taking a NT at 17. Caleb Brantley, Elijah Qualls, Dalvin Tomlinson, Jaleel Johnson, Vincent Taylor are not 1st rd picks to me. So that leaves a RB, Lb or possibly a DE. The kid from Temple is looking right now to be the pick at 17.

OH I totally agree there isnt an NT worthy of the #17 pick, a few DEs and maybe a couple of 4-3 DTs, but not an NT. And thats the real problem here. We continue to try and make average 4-3 DTs into a 3-4 NT and wonder why the defense sucks.

Yeap Shark you mentioned Brantley in another thread last night. He is more of a 4-3 DT. There are other players I like but I am sure they will all be gone. The kid from Temple is the safest play for me right now. There is one Off player I like OJ Howard. We will have to get the NT later on.

Well that true with the guy we got from NY several yrs ago. Can't think of his name but he was a failure at NT.

sty i love you man

Thanks!.....We have a very unique community here. In it just like other families we tend to have both moments where we agree and disagree. There's an unspoken unity here, stitched together by threads of Burgundy and Gold and a desire for better things. Proud to be a part of it.

Started to just let this go, but I'm curious, how do you conclude that I must have some sort of emotional attachment based upon postings on a site like this. Keep in mind that this is essentially conversation by keyboard.

Same way you determined I love Cousins. :D If you were Mr. Business you would more than likely not feel a need to post 945945395394593539535 threads say Snyder and Allen suck. It doesn't mean I am right, just an observation. :2cents:

???????????The "You Love Cousins" bit was merely a return of service, Re: RGIII (in the same manner that you seem determined to do, for some other meaningless transgression towards you by me:D, could be personal:pound:)......945945395394593539535 posts were all part of public discourse, that this forum was set up to elicit. Even if I were a lifelong fan of the Saskatchewan Roughriders, gave less than a fuck about this team and was posting here, those observations still would have been made.

There was a whole thing about the name of this franchise, where I was continuously asked about my connection to this team. I said then and I'll say it again now. This is my hometown team and I was raised with this edict, "You can tell a lot about a person who does not or willfully will not support their hometown (all inclusive)"

Interesting that there's a conversation about cutting emotional ties to this team on 106.7 FM (the Fan) right now. Turns out I'm not alone by a long shot.

As usual you missed the point of my post Sty. It wasn't personal. You do sometimes seem to have an everyone but me attitude that I don't understand. I think a lot of folks here respect you. I don't think everyone agrees with you but that can be said of any of us here. It is no different than the conversations I have with my buddies. I say X they say Y and we agree that the other knows nothing. :D

That's why I hope they draft a guy who actually is a NT. someone in the 330+ range.
No, 310lb NT is going to put fear or tire out two lineman, in many cases the guards already having twenty pounds on the DT. We should have developed a real space eater YEARS ago.

Well, Albert Haynesworth certainly ate up a lot of space, he did little else but he did take up space LOL.

its crazy how dominate he was in the game his brother died at NT. I guess he really was just a lazy bum, it was beautiful when Mike actually took the time out to address Albert in the media, when he wouldn't stop running his mouth.
