I started my message board days on the old yahoo chat rooms. There were no threads or anything, just people posting messages in colored texts.

It's crazy how much message boards/forums have evolved since then.

False

Never heard of her.

LB was an All American linebacker at Texas during their championship runs and played for DKR. Was on the Texas NC team

He is one of their all time greatest linebackers, based on their own polls.

He became a high level, respected investment portfolio manager in NYC, getting additional education from Harvard.

His late wife and he owned several ranches in Texas and sent many a kid to college out of their own pocket.

He mainly raised rice and high qualify beef cows for a few high quality restaurants in Texas. Sadly, both his places were virtually raised to the ground by Harvey.

He had a heart transplant a few months before Harvey, then insisted on going to the ranches to do what he could to protect them, hired a bus and took any employee who wanted to safety in Dallas.

When last we spoke, everything was a complete loss and he was having to rebuild from the ground up.

That was the last I heard. Because of his importance to Texas, I check their athletic sites regularly but nothing has been said of his passing so I conclude he's just damn busy.

Many of us who he is. The movie My All American might give you a clue. He's is the real deal.

And his family are long time native Texans.

That’s an awesome post.
I’m sure he’s just crazy busy. They’ve had a bad run of weather down there the last couple years
