I keep hearing nothing but positive reports on WR Terrance Austin, his stock is definitely trending upwards.
Patrick Edwards is coming dangerously close to following his script from last year- big time stand-out in OTAs and early in training camp, but disappeared in the preseason games. I know we're only one game in so far, but he was a non-factor on offense against the Jets. If he doesn't bounce back over the next two or three preseason games the coaches will chalk him up to the "practice warrior" category, imo...
Burleson looked horrible out there. No separation at all. Even on the one play that he had about 6 inches of separation, he still dropped a ball he should've caught. Looks like CJ and Bush may be our only playmakers this year, unless the rest decide it's time to step up.Fallers for week 2:
Carey
All LBs not named
Tulloch
Bently
Reiff
Burleson
You must add the predictable "beginning of the game reverse" play that Linehan loves to use. It's falling faster than TP's boxers in a gay club.Risers:
1. Nick Fairley (looks like Pro-Bowl caliber player thus far)
2. David Akers (looks to have regained his pre-injury form)
3. Calvin Johnson (by not being on the field to be a part of the turd the team laid last night)
4. The guys who are injured (everyone else was so bad you had to move up the depth chart because you werent out there playing like shit with everyone else)
Fallers:
1. Louis Delmas (since I think you will only play one game this season that means Don fucking Carey will be and he straight up blows
2. Every WR on the team other than CJ
3. Theo Riddick (how slow is this guy? he was a gunner on the punt return TD that got called back. He was about 15 yards short of the ball when the returner caught it and was engaged by a Browns player. He was still at the exact same spot when the returner blew past him at full speed. He isnt better than Bell at anything and if he's that putrid on ST's its time to say goodbye.)
4. The entire offensive line. (Everyone got bigger and stronger and they still cant move anyone off the line.)
5. Don Carey (he was so awful he gets mentioned twice on list)
6. Ron Bartell (if he is the starter opposite Houston this year look out)
7. Don Carey (see #5, a third mention is warrented)
8. Every LB on the team
9. Butterfingers Pettigrew (still cant figure out how the ball can actually go between your hands with those gloves. they are like fly paper on the ball)
10. Leshoure (looks horrible, and slow, not faster this year)
11. Principal (because he's masquerading as someone else on the board and probably thinks that everybody, including the moderators dont know. 555 Guess what assclown, we all do.
12. Scott Linehan (I can only pray that you were trying to keep it as boring and bland as possible. If you call games like that this year its going to be unwatchable)
13. I am tired of writing this list, so everybody else on the team goes here because it was absolutely brutal to watch. I couldnt wait all day for that game and somehow fell asleep early in the second half.

I want to know where TP is to cuss everyone out for talking smack about players on the Lions team? I continue to read comments being made by others that I made months ago and it made me "mr. negative".
I do find it somewhat satisfying though to see others eating crow and posting without blinders on, while finally admitting to the same faults that have been brought up for much of the offseason.

So the high point of your life is when others agree that your supposed favorite team sucks donkey balls?
