Ridley's Opening Run

I thought it was interesting to hear Baldinger on the NFL network broadcast saying there was no safety help on Ridley's 62 yard run...One reason was because Chung cheated up to the line and Amendola took him out of the play with a nice block. I hope to see more of that from Welker II.

You can probably see that run in the highlights on the Pats site or the NFL main site. Chung cheated up to the right side of the defense and Amendola lined up wide left and pinched him off with a good block. The best block was Solder's though...thing of beauty.

Most of our receiving options looked to be blocking well from what I could see.

Frankly the Pats dominated the Eagles physically all over the field... I haven't seen run blocking that effective since, well, I honestly can't remember. It was awesome.

This week will be a much bigger test, though. Tampa Bay's run defense is much tougher than Philly's.

Well isn't DA bigger than Wes? I mean he did throw some nice blocks, and it is not like KT an AD are small guys themselves. Going to be nice to have some WR to block. Now if Ridley could turn on the jets an score! He looked like he was out of gas after 55yrds. That's OK, I would have not been able to hit the hole!!

i thought tebow was the best player on that run. if you didnt see him on the sideline he raised his arms to the sky like moses and let out high pitched wail. the dline parted in the middle like the red sea.
