Very interesting and telling numbers. Critics like to point out just the opposite. Doesn't throw the ball enough....doesn't throw down field......chucks the ball only ten yards or less. Maybe his critics should get a hold of these stats. To say he's a run first QB with no pocket awareness or unable to read defenses is ridiculous. I only hope that he remain healthy throughout his career to watch him develop hopefully into one of the games best.KC Joyner:
"Griffin may have been the best downfield passer in the NFL last year. His 15.1 vertical yards per attempt (VYPA, a measure of productivity on passes thrown 11 or more yards downfield) ranked first in the league and his 16.4 stretch vertical YPA (SVYPA, a productivity gauge for aerials thrown 20 or more yards) ranked second. His 826 rushing yards were tops among quarterbacks and placed 20th among all ball carriers. Griffin also posted an amazingly low 1.2 percent bad decision rate (BDR, which measures how often a quarterback makes a mental error that leads to a turnover opportunity for the defense), which would be impressive for any passer but is doubly so for a rookie quarterback. All of this adds up to top-five caliber fantasy quarterback potential."
I wonder where he would rank as far as rookie seasons are concerned. Not just among QBs but over all rookie seasons. He does everything well. And was way more efficient than any rookie had a right to be.

This can't be right. According to every rival fan that comes here, he is a running QB first. There must be an error in the calculations or some people have it all wrong..........
RG3 took the majority of the walk through snaps today and is expected to start doing 11-11 drills as early as tomorrow.
Go read the "RG3 needs to STFU" thread on the main NFL board. Too funny. Some Seahawks fan is going out of his way to rag on RG3. What is up with all these Seahawks fans who have a constant need to rail against RG3?
Little brother syndrome. They want Wilson to be as good as RG3, desperately.
the thing is wilson is a fine qb
