Great, I totally respect your opinion on him, but answer this, what are the chances that Baltimore will use him as anything other than what he's always been? As a pro football prospect, we'll have to agree to disagree on his future.
I think - if he is used this year - it will be in packages where he's asked to be a runner more than a passer. If I recall correctly, McShay said the same thing. We shall see. It's his athleticism that sets him apart from other QB's - not his passing.

they took him at 32 as a QB prospect. With a starter and presumed backup already in place.

If jackson gets onto the field during the regular season, something has gone horribly wrong.

I disagree with your presumption and conclusion. I don't think it's smart to assume RG3 is going to even make their team. Last season went wrong for the Ravens - largely because Flacco wasn't 100%. I would be surprised if they didn't do something creative with Jackson this season to take advantage of his unusual talents.

The Ravens are a smart organization.

Smart money would say, if you want Jackson to become an NFL QB, his unique abilities should be seen as a bonus, not as a focal point.

And being a smart organization isn't necessarily doing things the way Sharkinova thinks they should be done.

There is room for creativity, and if they think he can help them this season, they'll use him this season. I don't think that's going to stunt his growth. Hell, Washington once drafted their QB of the future, and they used him as a punt returner. Remember him? Talkative guy whose last name rhymed with thies man.

Yep, I do remember. But different time, different NFL. The Ravens have the luxury of not needing to put Jackson on the field. Now Flacco is not Favre, but the Ravens should take the same path the Packers took with Rogers.

Theismann wasn't drafted by the Redskins. He was drafted by Miami but went to the CFL and played for Toronto. Allen traded the 1976 1st round pick to Miami to obtain his rights. Joe asked if he could return punts. It wasn't Allen's idea. Also agree different time.

I have no idea what Baltimore will do with Jackson. NFL growth as a QB should be the goal. If they feel he has what it takes to be a good NFL QB I would be careful how much I expose him otherwise.

Hopefully it's possible to understand my point about Theisman while also understanding it was a different time.
