I honestly think McLellan and the Sharks coaching staff listened to Wellwood when he said the Canucks play "afraid to lose" and game planned around that. Eager probably put it in the staffs heads that this series could be like Chicago where the Sharks could get under the Canucks skin, intimidate and mentally defeat them.

I loved that Eager's next shift out after the hit, AV changed on the fly to put the Sedins out against him
