Spanos really wants to stay in San Diego and Kroneke really doesn't want to share (or his version of sharing) especially when he is paying for this entire project. That much was evident during the owners meetings when they voted to let Kroneke move.

Kroneke wants the Rams to own Los Angeles and rent the building and offices for concerts, events and other things. Why would he really want a co-owner in his building? I don't think he does, it might have helped determine the Rams coming back but why share the sandwich if you bought it and have the money for the soda to flush it down?

For one, it was part of the approval process from the league. Kroenke has an agreement of some sort with Spanos for the Chargers to come to LA in 2017 if they can't lock down a stadium deal in San Diego, but I haven't seen any details reported.

I think that if Kroneke can work a deal to only have the Rams in his stadium, he will try.

I think the Chargers will end up getting a stadium deal in San Diego provided Spanos commits all of the NFL resources to the build. Then and only then do the people of San Diego vote for a deal like that.

With that, I just don't see Davis passing up on the deal if Spanos stays put.

He and Spanos already have an agreement in place. The only variable is whether or not the Chargers decide to move.

Agreed. Bucky Larson will jump at the opportunity to move back to LA if Spanos stays in San Diego.
