Skinsdad- Any gut feelings about who we target on Day 1. I would assume Williams, Logan or Hankins is a Skin on Tuesday (or agreed to). I wish we would get 2 DLinemen the first day actually.

you will hate me but i feel like we wont be too active in the 1st week . i think logan is a target campbell (although i am sketchy about him ) i think kenny britt we be chased and a run at jefferson will be made . i see baker and davis being resigned . not sure jax or PG get resigned

You might be right....we all have our hunches for sure.
To be honest, I would like to do something in between of the Vinny approach of firing up Redskins One at 11:59 pm and the SM approach of letting the mad rush die down before getting active.

I want 4 things to happen:

1. Don't get in necessary bidding wars. Spend wisely!!!
2. Don't target players over 30.
3. Sign younger, healthier players.
4. Address as many defensive needs as possible.

Quick question, is this our FA thread as well for free agency? Just curious so I know what to check while at work.

Thanks!

Would he be a DE or NT? Could be a good fit if the price is right. We have to do something with that DLine.
based on size compared to Baker I would say he would make a good DE & a poor NT

I think we should take a long look at Torrey Smith. Bring him in a decent deal and Kenny Britt as well. That would probably cost us the same as Bringing Jackson back for 10 million. We need to make smart moves here. Get a decent LG and throw the rest at defense.

Thoughts on a McClain, Baker and Logan/Hankins Dline?
I like Baker as a DE ... not sure what that plan is at NT ...

best guess is transition back to 4-3

Well Gruden said we would stay in the 3-4 so maybe Benny Logan is the NT target? It would make sense. We need to stretch that cap room out.

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports free agent DeSean Jackson is expected to seek $10-$12 million per season.
Fowler's report is via "several league sources." It would be a fair ask for the 30-year-old Jackson, who remains one of the league's fastest receivers and had his third 1,000-yard campaign in four years last season. He's Rotoworld's No. 3 free agent receiver. Mar 6 - 2:49 PM

No thanks not worth that he is a one trick pony who can't stay healthy

while i agree we should let him walk for anything above 8m

with the salary cap increasing to 167m per season

#1 receivers in their prime, which Jackson believes he is, are going to get their percentage of that.

the negotiating of contracts would be so much simpler if the NFL was played in Russia

and all 53 players each earned $3,150,943

He's going to the Bucs, they will be stupid enough to pay that.
