Told ya. Homer stinks.

I've been one of his greatest detractors going in to this year and he now has seven quality starts out of nine total starts......he didn't stink tonight and for the most part he's been solid all year....he's fine for a fourth or fifth starter..........:ss:

He was supposed to be the next Nolan Ryan. Yes, he's fine as a #5. However, he'll always be stinky to me as long as he stays a #5.

That we managed to find a number one starter (Cueto) out of all our "can't miss" prospects is in itself amazing. Less than half the teams in baseball have one. We have another one waiting in the wings in Chapman if we can just get into a position where we can snatch him out of the bullpen. Bailey and Leake are ok as lesser starters behind these two, and both could still improve, as they are young. I'm quite sure Bailey was rushed a couple years before he was ready out of desperation, which is never a way to manage a young pitcher's career.

If every team that had a highly touted player come in and do what everyone thought they were going to do...each team would be full of superstars.

Bailey on cruise yet again.....seems like he finally has figured it out.....I think the difference is he's throwing that splitter as an off speed pitch and locating it really well....just makes his heater all the better......

I was going to make a cynical quip about him pitching against the Pirates, but I can't..... He's been very good lately - No denying that.

I like this club. I'd really like them if they had one more everyday bat.

Bailey: 8 quality starts in 10 tries. That's getting it done.

If Frazier can continue to hit in the .270's that will really help the offense A LOT.

Cozart really struggling. The smart thing would be to move BP into leadoff and Bruce into the 4 hole as he's starting to hit again...you know another Bruce-streak is about to happen. Moving him into the 4 hole makes too much sense to take advantage of his streak.
