id at least show inerest.. he was a good dman back in teh day and his AHL stats aren't horrible.. on like a 1-1.5 mil 1 year deal, why not? it's his contract that made him a laughing stock, not his play

same goes for gomez really.. though i dont know how he went a full calendar year without scoring a goal

pretty sure the flyers are at 50 contracts though, so they'd have to move someone else

I'd be interested for under 1.5m. Jesus if we signed Redden too every team in the league would be calling us for depth D-men when they lose one of their guys to injury, maybe we could turn some of these bums into draft picks.

Gomez is interesting. He could potentially be an alright depth guy. But then you realize he hasnt played this half of a season, and played 30 last year. He could be quite rusty

Depends if the guy can still play. I'd like to think that he'd be an ok 5/6 dman at this point but was too pricey so the rags let him rot. Someone will sign him I'm sure....
